Kiev International Advertising Festival announced the Press jury

The Organizing Committee of the 11-KIAF announced the staff of the Press jury. It assesses the contests of  TV ads, print ads and posters for outdoor advertising and defines two best works in film and print. Awards in the category "Media Award" are equal in importance (based on accrued points) to the "gold" in the category Advertising Campaigns, and "Best of Contest"  in the categories TV, online and print advertising, outdoor advertising, media projects, PR-projects, marketing services projects, as well as excellence in print advertising and video craft.


 Chairman of the jury is Dmitry Rosenfeld, deputy director of RBC Ukraine. His media-life began in 1998 on STB TV-channel, where he created and headed the service of marketing and analytics. In 2000 under his leadership at MSU was created specialization "Economics and marketing of commercial television". He also advised regional and national television, developing a variety of marketing and analytical projects. Since autumn 2006 served as vice president of National telecompany, was responsible for the direction of marketing. Since  February 1, 2008 has is a Deputy General Director of RBC Ukraine. In the company of RBC-Ukraine Dmitry Rozenfeld is engaged in development and public relations.


Members of the jury this year will be:


 Andrey Purtov, editor of Identity magazine (Russia). Andrey has over 20 years of experience in business, branding and corporate identity. In 2000, he became co-founder and CEO of branding company ArtGraphics.ru, whose work has received recognition in many design competitions in the categories "trademarks" and "corporate identity" - Tamga, DeArt, PROFI, Idea, Golden Flea, MIAF, White square - and have been published in prestigious international design catalogs, including four catalogs a series of LogoLounge. In 2004, Andrey became a publisher and a chief editor of Identity - magazine devoted to branding and design, which after the first issue was recognized as the debut of the year in Russia in the field of advertising and marketing. Magazine of Identity is a unique specialization and the audience, receiving information directly from the world leaders in the field of branding - companies such as Landor, Wolff Olins, Cato Purnell Partners, Pentagram, Lippincott, MetaDesign.
Andrew has written numerous articles on corporate identity and branding. He also is the author of more than 50 trademarks. He is also the producer of the international conference on branding HiBrand 2010 and chairman of the organizing committee of the international contest Identity: Best of the Best, a member of the Association of branding companies in Russia. He is a member of the jury in a number of competitions in the field of branding, marketing and design in Russia and the CIS, as well as the member of examination board on the course "Visual Communications in the British Higher School of Design."
In the summer of 2009 Andrey was listed among the world's experts in the field of branding on the site www.identityworks.com, started a blog on branding http://www.pourtov.com/, and since autumn of 2009 began teaching his course "Branding" in British Higher School of Design.

 Vitaliy Chirkov
, LQ editor. Until 2003 he lived and worked in Israel, where he started his media career. He worked in a humorous newspaper "Beseder?", produced a men's magazine "Master M", that had great success among Russian-speaking population in Israel. He was one of the founders of the Russian-speaking and Russian-language radio and TV broadcast in Israel.
After returning to Ukraine, became chief-editor of "Today" newspaper, which he led up to 2006. Then he went to the "Media Invest Group" as a director of development. In 2007, launched the "unexpected women's magazine" LQ - magazine modeled the most popular men's glossy magazines, but focused purely on the female audience. Today LQ is gaining gloss market share and obtained the niche of "smart" women's press. "Advertising plays in our lives more than important role, and the cleverer, happier and more accurate it is, the better", - says Vitaly.


 Artem Vakalyuk, journalist, copywriter. In 2006 graduated from the Military Institute of Taras Shevchenko KNU with a degree of English and Spanish languages translator. After leaving the Armed Forces, from March 2007 is professionally engaged in journalism. Until February 2010 - media observer and columnist of "Markets" department in daily business newspaper "Economic news". From December 2008 till the present time - he is an analytical observer of All-Ukrainian Advertising Coalition. Currently working with a number of business and socio-political editions as a freelance author, covering the topic of advertising, communications and media. From March 2010 develops his own online project - an advertising portal http://www.adsmarket.com.ua


 Irina Mironova, journalist. Graduated from Donetsk National University with a degree in English language and literature. From 2008 - journalist in the leading business daily newspaper Kommersant. More than 200 materials, including news stories and analysis on trends in advertising, marketing and media. "For me the invitation from the All-Ukrainian Advertising Coalition to become a member of the jury was a pleasant surprise. I write about advertising for almost two years, and during this time I saw how powerful it is as a tool for influencing decision-making by specific people. However, sometimes the effect of advertising produced the opposite to the expected. Let's see how successful the contestants coped with the task of this year", - she says.
