
Andrey Pourtov
Andrey Pourtov has more than 20 years of work experience in business, branding and corporate identity. He was born in 1971. After graduating university in 1994, he worked in sales of electronics, and also was a sales manager at Videservice company where he was charged sales analysis of video production several companies such as Columbia Tristar, Buena Vista and Walt Disney all over Russia.
In 2000 he became co-founder and CEO of branding company ArtGraphics.ru, whose work has received recognition in many design festivals in the categories "trademarks" and "corporate identity". In 2003 Andrey successfully completed a correspondence course "Introduction to Intellectual Property" at the World Intellectual Property Organization (Geneva).
In 2004 Andrey became publisher and chief editor of Identity magazine, devoted to branding and design.
As a brand strategist, consultant and creative director, Andrey has been involved in all ArtGraphics.ru branding projects.
Andrew Purtov also is the producer of the International conference on branding HiBrand and he is the member of the organizing committee of the International awards Identity: Best of the Best. Andrey is a member of the Association of branded companies in Russia. Also he is member of examination board on the course "Visual Communications in the British Higher School of Design.
In the summer of 2009 Andrey was listed as the world's experts in the field of branding on the site www.identityworks.com, he started a blog on branding http://pourtov.com, and since the fall of 2009 he began teaching his course "Branding" in British Higher School of Design.
