Studied physics, but also worked as an actor, played in the first Timur
Bekmambetov movie "Peshavar Waltz", was engaged in producing films
and modeling. Where next could go someone with such an eclectic experience? Of
course, to advertising.
In the advertising business Yuri has been for 15 years - roughly the same as
the business exists in Kazakhstan. Working on the client side, Yuri received
the Black Pencil award for the best advertising campaign.
He worked both as a creative and an executive director in the agencies. He
has experience with virtually all clients of the Kazakhstan market, and he has
participated in the withdrawal of many new brands and campaigns.
Gold and silver medalist of local advertising festivals, Advision awards.
Has also MIAF and AdFest shortlists.
Since 2005 Yuri is the executive director and from 2008 - CEO of Openeyes DDB.
